One piece of very good news in the endless COVID mess: freelancing as a work choice is exploding. It has reached 36% of the U.S. workforce – 59 million workers. This excludes employees who do remote work or work from home. A freelance job is one where a person works for themselves, self-employed rather than employed by a company.
